The project is to design a game called Bejeweled. In this game, the player has to match jewels either vertically or horizontally. Each match will score some points depending on the number of jewels that are matched. The more matched jewels the more score will be added. When reaching specific amount of score, the player wins. Failure to match such jewels will result in Losing.
Thus, the main goal of the project is to demonstrate the Graphical User Interface (GUI) in Java using swing and awt classes.
